Feb 28, 20202020 and Beyond

Happy new decade! Flying cars and hoverboards aren’t here yet, but Passive Houses sure are and Kingdom Builders is thrilled to be working on a bunch of them with 7 in the mix in various phases. The BC Energy Step code is now in effect which puts British Columbia on a path to meet a provincial target that all new buildings must be “net-zero energy ready”, aka Step 5, by 2032. The Passive House standard meets the Step 5 criteria, and as the Lower Mainland’s residential leaders in Passive House, this puts Kingdom Builders over a full decade ahead of the competition while also ensuring our clients will be living in the ultimate future-proofed home.

We have added some very talented carpenters to our team as our crew has recently doubled in size - Andre, Dan, Matt, Mike, Phil, Sam and Tyler have all made immediate positive impact on our projects. We are fortunate to have such a dynamic group of individuals committed the Kingdom Builders philosophy, and we’re excited about what we will be able to accomplish together over the few years as we grow as a team.
